Our Mission  

Formerly SLO YFL, the Pacific Coast Youth Football League's Mission is to:  Inspire youth, regardless of race, religion, color, creed, national origin or gender by bringing them closer together through the means of a common interest in tackle football and cheer. We work to reinforce the principles of healthy living, maintaining high moral and ethical standards; a sense of fair play, good sportsmanship, discipline and teamwork.   

To instruct the game elements in a safe and intelligent manner; keep the well-being of the participant first and foremost, entirely free of any adult lust for glory or self- promotion.  

To teach the participants, within the rules of the game, the fundamentals of passing, running, kicking, blocking and tackling for football and coordination, teamwork and drills for cheerleading.  

To teach, through youth sports, good sportsmanship and teamwork, appreciation and enjoyment of the game and encourage them to compete and cheer to the best of their ability.
