Our Covid-19 Response

Safer is Better

Our Covid-19 response follows CDC as well as State and Local health guidelines.  Covid-19 is unprecedented and the response is a living document with mandates, recommendations and guidelines changing daily.  We do our best to ensure the safety of ALL our participants and coaches league-wide.  If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Frequently Asked Questions

CDC guidelines state to Quarantine if you have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19, unless you have been fully vaccinated. People who are fully vaccinated do NOT need to quarantine after contact with someone who had COVID-19 unless they have symptoms. However, fully vaccinated people should get tested 3-5 days after their exposure, even if they don’t have symptoms and wear a mask indoors in public for 14 days following exposure or until their test result is negative.

Options we will consider include stopping quarantine:
-After day 10 without testing
-After day 7 after receiving a negative test result (test must occur on day 5 or later)

The entire team is considered exposed because pinpointing the date and of exposure is not possible.  Quarantine starts the day one of the positive test from the infected source.

Gatorade type squeeze bottles for Senior and Intermediate divisions during time-outs are okay.  Coaches must instruct kids not to touch the bottles to their mouths.  Any bottle that touches a mouth cannot be used again during the game until decontaminated by washing in hot soapy water.  Juniors and Bantams may also use the squeeze bottles BUT must have adult/coach squeeze the water into their mouths.

Personal water bottles shall be  required for kids’ personal usage before, during and after games and at all practices.
